Cancellations prior to 9 am on the day before an appointment incur NO cancellation fee.
Cancellations later than 9 am on the day before an appointment that are because of sudden physical illness or injury (e.g., vomiting) or an emergency situation (e.g., a car accident) incur NO cancellation fee. Unexpected work commitments are not considered emergencies.
Appointments that are rescheduled or cancelled later than 9 am on the day before an appointment incur a late cancellation fee of $100.
Arriving later than 30 minutes means the session will be automatically cancelled and incur a late cancellation fee of $100. Unfortunately, it is not possible to have a meaningful session in less than 25 minutes, and the Medicare rebate for a 50 minute session cannot be provided.
This cancellation policy is part of providing structure and consistency, and honouring our time together.
